John Hooley — Owner / Senior Developer
John is a Zend Certified Engineer for PHP 5 who has a passion for writing well designed code and has contributed to the Joomla project as an extension developer, Joomla Community Magazine author, user group team leader, and a bug squasher. Prior to becoming a programming nerd, John served as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps infantry. He integrates the lessons he learned in the service about getting things done with his expert development knowledge to craft high quality solutions for Blue Bridge's clients. In his spare time he's likely reading sci-fi, doing pull-ups, geeking out on business, or hiding the tennis ball from his yellow lab "Sunny."
Nicky Woolf — Web Developer
Nicky grew up in Rockford, Illinois, where in 1999 he built his first website, learning the basics from a couple books. His fascination with computers and compulsive need to sketch eventually led him to central Florida to study Computer Animation at Full Sail University. After several years of creating visual FX for different projects, including a feature length documentary, he gravitated back toward web development. He is always excited to expand his knowledge of PHP programming and on the lookout for creative solutions. In his off hours, Nicky can be found in Woodlawn Park playing ragball (when that Portland sun is out) or enjoying listening to You Made it Weird with a cup of coffee and pipe tobacco (when it's not.)
Oscar Choi — Web Developer
Oscar graduated from Washington State University studying Digital Technology & Culture. Growing up in the Digital Age has imbued him with a passion for web / information technologies and media. He enjoys building systems, making websites, and making things work. Oscar believes in strengthening both the mind and the body. He values maintaining a good balance between work and play. In his free time he likes to compose music, watch movies, exercise, and play games.
Mitchell Trux – Project Manager
Mitchell is a California native and graduate of University of California, Davis. He began his career in the bicycling industry where he learned to create compelling brand and product experiences for companies while also competing as a sponsored athlete in cycling competitions throughout the US and in Europe. While living in San Francisco, he slowed down his racing to get into technology. Now with experience from several start-ups and interaction / user experience design chops, he's living the good life in Portland, managing projects for Blue Bridge, spending quality time with his family and continuing to race his bike.
